2018 Child Advocacy Day Highlight Video

Missouri’s annual Child Advocacy Day is an opportunity for parents, child care professionals, health care providers, and community members to speak up and ask lawmakers to make the health, safety, and education of Missouri’s children a top priority for the state.

The Family and Community Trust through its 20 Community Partnerships and through its two child-focused initiatives, Missouri KIDS COUNT and No Kid Hungry, had a strong presence at this year’s Child Advocacy Day. Throughout the day, there were 5 total Child Advocacy Day workshops, 30 total Child Advocacy Day exhibitors, and over 500 Child Advocacy Day attendees; all who gathered to support Missouri’s children.

Missouri KIDS COUNT hosted their annual roundtable discussion during CAD, to present the latest MO KIDS COUNT data and county rankings. There was a lively discussion among the KIDS COUNT team of experts and the hearing room only crowd.
